In this vibrant and engaging class, our tiniest musicians begin their musical journeys with foam fiddles. Tailored for children ages 2-5, this exploratory class encourages musical development through a blend of dance, songs, rhythmic games, and instrument education. We incorporate hand percussion, rhythm sticks, and coordination games to enhance motor skills, dexterity, and to foster a holistic approach. 
*Foam fiddle $22 addtl. For those who prefer not to purchase a foam fiddle, there is an option to borrow one during class time.

Tiny Fiddlers is for our tiny friends who are excited to get on a real violin! This class introduces the basics, like how to hold the violin, take care of it, and make their first sounds. We incorporate fiddle games, rhythm sticks, joyful singing, movement, and various musical activities to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable. We maintain small class sizes, with a maximum of five students per class. Recognizing the importance of parental involvement, we invite each fiddler's grown-up to participate, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

The class provides a strong foundation for students' violin posture, bow hold, tone production, and rhythm. Songs are taught by ear, with sheet music provided as a supplementary resource. Class size is limited to six participants to ensure personalized instruction. No prior musical experience is required.

Rising Fiddlers learn tunes from both the folk and classical music traditions. Students enrolled in this class have previous music lessons under their belt, allowing them to play tunes at an accelerated pace and tackle a wider range of repertoire. Technique development emphasizes a comfortable setup, relaxed bow hold, rich sound production, and enhanced intonation. Songs are taught by ear and supplemented with sheet music, fostering the development of note-reading and rhythm skills.​To ensure individualized attention, classes are limited to six participants.

It serves as an excellent complement to school orchestra, offering individualized instruction to enhance the student's learning experience.

ADULT BEGINNING VIOLIN
