In this vibrant and engaging class, our tiniest musicians embark on their musical journeys with foam fiddles. This exploratory class promotes musical abilities through a blend of dance, songs, rhythmic games, and instrument education. We incorporate hand percussion, rhythm sticks, and coordination games to enhance motor skills, fostering a holistic approach. This approach not only develops physical dexterity but also fosters a sense of community and belonging among our young learners. *For those who prefer not to purchase their own foam fiddle ($22 addtl’), the option to borrow one during class is available.
TINY FIDDLERS (ages 3-5)

Tiny Fiddlers is made for our tiny friends who can't wait to get on a real violin! This class shows them the basics, like how to hold the violin, take care of it, and make their first sounds. But we're not just about violin stuff. We also do fiddle games, rhythm sticks, sing, move around, and have lots of musical fun. To make sure every kid gets the attention they deserve, we keep our classes small – only four students per class. And guess what? We want each fiddler’s grown-up to join in too, so they can help their little one learn and grow. We've got a few rental instruments available, ask us for more info.
LITTLE FIDDLERS (ages 6-8)
Teacher: Anna Grussling Thursdays, November 7th-December 19th (6 classes, no class 11/28) - 1 SPOT REMAINING 5:00-5:30p $120 Little Fiddlers is a small group class rooted in folk music. Students learn the basics of violin and how to play simple songs through a fun and engaging class involving fiddles, rhythm sticks, singing, joyful movement, and lighthearted games for fine motor skill development. Children learn violin posture, position, and how to care for their instrument. Class size is limited to 6 participants. No previous music experience necessary. We have a small inventory of rental instruments, please inquire.

Students learn to play tunes at a faster pace than in Little Fiddlers. Young Fiddlers provides a solid foundation in violin posture, bow hold, tone production, and rhythm. Songs are taught by ear, with sheet music provided. Class size is limited to 6 participants. No previous music experience necessary. We have a small inventory of rental instruments, please inquire.
RISING FIDDLERS (ages 8-11)
Teacher: Anna Grussling Thursdays, November 7th-December 19th (6 classes, no class 11/28) - 1 SPOT REMAINING 6:15-7:00p $160 Rising Fiddlers is inspired by folk and classical music. Students in this class have other music lessons under their fingers, play tunes at a faster pace, and cover more repertoire. Technique-building focuses on comfortable set-up, relaxed bow hold, rich sound production, and intonation. Songs are taught by ear as well as with sheet music to develop note-reading and rhythm skills. Class is limited to 6 participants. We have a small inventory of rental instruments, please inquire.
JR. FIDDLERS (ages 11+)

The ideal learner for this class has recently begun their musical journey and desires deepening their skills, technique, and satisfaction in playing the violin! Lessons focus on teaching set-up, relaxed bow hold, rich sound production, and good intonation. This is an excellent supplement to school orchestra with a focus on personalized instruction. *If you have interest in this class but it's full, inquire to get on our list for a second class!
VIOLA
JR. VIOLISTS (ages 9+)
Teacher: Neveah Killsnight 2025 Winter class posted soon... Young Violists uses tunes from both folk and classical music. The ideal learner for this class has just recently begun their musical journey and desires deepening their skills, technique, comfort, and satisfaction in playing the viola! The lessons focus on teaching excellent set-up, a relaxed bow hold, rich sound production, and how to play with good intonation. This is a great supplement to school orchestra class, with a focus on more personalized instruction. Class size is limited to 5 participants.
Teacher: Jessica Catron Mondays, November 4th-December 9th (6 classes) - 2 SPOTS REMAINING 5:30-6:00p $120 Young Cellists is a group class pulling from both folk and classical music. Students learn to play tunes, gain proper set up, comfortable bow hold, rich tone production, and rhythm skills. No previous music experience necessary. JR. CELLISTS (ages 10+)

This is an excellent supplement to school orchestra class or other music classes, with a focus on personalized instruction.
ADULT BEGINNING CELLO (ageless) Teacher: Jayla Mitchell & Jessica Catron Fridays, November 1-November 22 (4 classes) 5:45-6:45p $136 This is a class for adult beginners! Lessons focus on building comfortable set-up and playing position, relaxed bow hold, how to produce good tone and intonation, and a whole lot of enjoyment. Songs are taught by ear as well as with sheet music to develop note-reading skills (though knowing how to read music is not necessary). This class is taught in a fun, casual, and low-stress environment. Instrument not provided. We have a very limited amount of rentals available - please inquire. Class size is limited to 5 participants.
